Sausage Cheese Balls
1 lb. breakfast sausage (regular, not hot/spicy), cooked and drained;
crumbled
¾-1 lb. cheddar cheese (grated)
3 cups Bisquick
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cook and drain sausage (mashed into
tiny pieces). Melt cheese in microwave or double boiler. Mix sausage,
cheese, and Bisquick. Roll into quarter (25 cent) diameter balls. Freeze
and cook frozen or cook immediately on ungreased cookie sheet. (They
don’t spread out much when cooking.) Bake for 15 minutes or until
golden brown.
The sausage cheese balls may be frozen as well.
Add 5 minutes to cooking time for frozen sausage cheese balls.
