Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Butter or grease a 9-inch square baking dish.
Cover the bottom of the baking dish with the rhubarb.
Sprinkle with 1-1/2 cups sugar and dot with 1/4 cup butter. In a medium bowl,
combine the flour, sugar, milk, butter, and baking powder, mixing well. Spoon the
mixture over the rhubarb, then bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
