2023

The 92nd Annual Clan McIntosh Reunion was held at the Indian Lake Park Stone Lodge in Farmington, Iowa, on Saturday, September 23, 2023. 30 people attended the reunion, enjoying a potluck dinner, visiting, and renewing family ties.

President Todd McIntosh presided over the meeting.

Todd McIntosh opened the meeting with a reading from the Bible, Genesis 18:19 and Exodus 20:12.

Todd McIntosh read the minutes of the meeting in 2022, and they were approved.

The treasurer’s report was read by Alyce Nilius, which was then approved with $971.83 left in the treasury.

Lee McIntosh said a prayer before dinner.

Old Business
There was no old business to discuss.

New Business
It was decided that having the Clan McIntosh Reunion on Saturday worked better, and it was voted on that we have the Clan McIntosh Reunion next year at Indian Lake Park again since there is a playground for the kids and a lake within walking distance for hiking and fishing.

Gina Lanman volunteered to reserve the Indian Lake Stone Lodge for next year, for the 3rd or 4th Saturday of September, whichever was available.

The election of officers was not held this year.

2022

The 91st Annual Clan McIntosh Reunion was held at the Educational Room of the United Methodist Church in Keosauqua, Iowa, on Sunday, September 18, 2022. Seventeen people attended the reunion, enjoying a potluck dinner, visiting, and renewing family ties. The ladies of the church served Maid-rites. Lee McIntosh said a prayer before the dinner.

There was a table set up to remember those family members that have passed in the last couple of years. Several people brought their loved ones to place on the table. The names of each member of Clan McIntosh that passed during the pandemic were read aloud.

Vice-President Mark Zumdome presided over the meeting.

Todd McIntosh read the minutes of the meeting in 2019, and they were approved.

The treasurer’s report was read by Louise House, which was then approved with $400 left in the treasury.

Old Business
There was no old business to discuss.

New Business
It was discussed whether or not to continue the family reunion every year since so few people attended. It was decided to hold the reunion again next year, but in Farmington near a playground to encourage people with children to attend. It was also decided to hold the reunion on Saturday instead of Sunday.
